Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said, “Why should Rahul
Gandhi apologise! There is no need to apologize to them. What did Rahul Gandhi
say in Cambridge, which he has not said here. He hasn't lied. He is real. What
is real, what is the reality, is what he has said about India's democracy in
Cambridge. What should you apologize for? There is absolutely no need for him
to apologise."
Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh, after coming out of the
Upper House after India's ruling party, the Modi team, adjourned the Upper
House, while meeting the media said, “The ruling party has made a strategy in
Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha that Both the Houses should not be allowed to
function. When the opposition leader started speaking about the investigation
of Adani-Mega Scam, the ministers of the ruling party suddenly got up and
started raising slogans of ' apologise- apologise-apologise and the house was adjourned.
Jairam Ramesh said, “It is all a strategy of the ruling party
to suppress the investigation of the Adani-Mega Scam. The ruling party want
that this scam should not be investigated, because Prime Minister Narendra Modi
is directly involved in this scam. The ruling party’s leaders are making issue
of Rahul Gandhi's speech to avoid investigation and disclosure. Whatever Rahul
Gandhi has said in Cambridge about 'India's democracy', it is all real. There
is truth in each and every argument of his.
Let me tell you for information that whatever Rahul Gandhi
has spoken about 'India's democracy' in Cambridge, he has not spoken in any
country but in his university, where he has received higher education. He has
expressed his views in the capacity of a senior student. Expressing one's views
by a person, senior student or scholar it’s cannot be considered wrong in a
democracy. One's views were misconstrued when the country was ruled by some
eccentric dictatorial ruler.
