Congress leader Professor Ballabh has given this information to the people through a press conference that the Narendra Modi government is looting the people of India in petrol and diesel. Which economic policy is this government following? It can be clearly said from the policies of the government that the economic policies of this government can never benefit the people of India and their policies lead to looting of the public.

The Congress told that when there was an increase in the prices of crude oil in the international market, then the prices of petrol and diesel were increased in India. The Modi government had told the public that there has been an increase in the prices of crude oil in the international market, so the prices of petrol and diesel were increased in the Indian markets. From this point of view, now when the prices of crude oil have come down in the international market, the prices of petrol and diesel should come down, but the prices are increasing.

The Congress leader pointed out that if the Indian government follows the prices of the international market, then the prices of petrol and diesel in the country will fall by about Rs 17 per litre at present. The people of the country will get a relief of Rs 17 per litre, in petrol prices and Rs 17 per litre in diesel prices. With this, the public can get a big relief from the wildly rising inflation in the country.

Targeting the Modi government, Congress leader Professor Ballabh raised questions that India has recently bought crude oil from Russia. It is being told that the Government of India has bought crude oil from Russia at very cheap prices. It is also known that there are Indian government companies and private Indian companies in buying crude oil from Russia. He said, “The Modi government should tell the public at what price Indian government companies have bought crude oil from Russia and at what price Indian private companies have bought crude oil from Russia?”
