The Modi government rejected the agitating farmers but the Chief Minister of Punjab embraced the farmers with respect.
Farmers agitating in the cold winter near Delhi, the capital of India, have refused to accept the proposal of the Narendra Modi government. The agitating farmers have to tell the government that the government should withdraw its new three agricultural laws, that is, cancel it. Whereas, the Modi government's warriors say that these three agriculture laws of the government should only be amended but passed.
Today it has been 58 days for farmers agitating near Delhi from Punjab and other states of India and more than 50 farmers have gone away in the meantime. But the government has failed to feel the pain of the farmers till date. It is clear from this attitude of the government that Modi is putting any pressure on the government to implement these three agricultural laws. If this is not done then when the farmer does not approve this law, then what can be the meaning of enforcing it forcefully on the farmers?
The 11th round meeting between the farmers and the Modi government in New Delhi was also unsuccessful. This meeting could not be concluded anyway. However, before this meeting, the Modi government had proposed a proposal for farmers, stating that the new three agricultural laws of the government are currently postponed for a year to six months. With this proposal of the government, it was expected that the farmers who are protesting against the agricultural laws will accept this time and leave the movement and go to their home.
The Punjab State Government has announced a relief for the families of the orphans of farmers who lost their lives among the farmers of Punjab agitating near Delhi in protest against the three agricultural laws of the Modi government. Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has announced a job and compensation of Rs five lakh each to each member of the family of those who lost their lives during the peasant movement.
Let me tell you that Punjab Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Amarinder Singh has been continuously opposing the three new agricultural laws of the Modi government. The Chief Minister of Punjab has also passed resolutions from the Legislative Assembly against these agricultural laws of the Central Government. The Chief Minister of Punjab believes that agriculture is a state subject and the central government has brought three anti-farmer laws without consulting the state. The central government should withdraw these laws.
Following this decision by Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, the Congress has tweeted on the social media account tweeter that this decision of the Punjab Congress government is a tribute to the martyrdom of the farmers, the Congress stands with the rights of the farmers and their families Also with. We bow down to farmers, not as Khalistani or terrorists.
