A 10-hour long debate was held in Lok Sabha on Monday on Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor. Issues like POK, terrorism, Agniveer and national security dominated the debate. SP chief cornered the government over Agniveer and raised sharp questions about security.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Home Minister Amit Shah and many prominent leaders of opposition parties put forth their views. In this discussion, examples like Rafale aircraft, Trump's mediation, Pakistan occupied Kashmir and even McDonald's made the discussion interesting.
Defence Minister said that Operation Sindoor was a response to India's military action, which was started after the Pahalgam terror attack. He said that India stopped this operation because it had achieved all its military targets.
Rajnath Singh further said that if Pakistan makes any move again, then this operation will start again and Operation Sindoor was completely successful. No important military asset was destroyed.

leader Gaurav Gogoi asked during the debate that we want to know how many
Rafale planes fell? If some have fallen, then it is a big loss for the country.
He also said that if the attack was done then it should have been carried out
and Pakistan occupied Kashmir should have been taken back.
The opposition claimed that US President Donald Trump had brought about a ceasefire between India and Pakistan.
To this, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar replied that there was no connection between trade or ceasefire in any conversation between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Trump.
BJP MP Anurag Thakur took a dig at Rahul Gandhi and called him a leader who sympathizes with Pakistan.

interest is paramount, then comes the state, then the party and finally the
family. The government gave the leaders of all parties an opportunity to
present India's side against terrorism abroad.
