One Rank One Pension Scheme has become No Rank No Pension Scheme- Congress leader Supriya Shrinet.
When the Prime Minister of India was Dr. Manmohan Singh, at that time Narendra Modi used to talk about implementing one rank one pension. But as soon as Modi became the Prime Minister of India, he forgot this and after eight years came with the Agneepath scheme for the armies. Under which the forces will be reinstated for only four years. After that the youth army will keep wandering for employment. Not only this, the present Modi government of India has also cut the defense budget to be spent on the army.
According to Congress spokesperson and leader Supriya Shrinet, the present Modi government of India is not doing justice to the army. The way Modi is taking decisions for the army, these decisions will weaken the military force of the country. She tells that Narendra Modi used to talk about one rank one pension in Haryana, but now when the public has given a chance to implement them, why not implement it? According to Modi, now the army will be kept on the job for only four years. After this the job of the appointed Yuva Sena will end and this army will have to find another job.
Supriya Shrinet further states that from the year 2017 to 2021, the current government has reduced the expenditure on the army as compared to earlier. During the last five years, the present government has spent only 13.2 percent of the country's budget on the army, whereas before this, the Government of India used to spend 17.1 percent of its entire budget on the army. The present Modi government has cut the amount spent by the Government of India on the army by 4 percent. To call this decision of Modi right on any basis would be injustice to the army.
