The residents of village Bhagwan Bigha of Nalanda district, Block Ekangar Sarai, Panchayat Op in Bihar are using such water, using water that can make a person sick, Bihar government has done this through the water scheme of every house and supplying water that can make a person sick if he drinks it. A big tube well has been installed in this village, from which water is supplied to two more villages nearby, these three villages together live around 500 people and the supply of water containing sand from tap water to every house fulfills the objectives of the scheme, such as the question should be asked by the public to the government.

To test the tap water of this village, no more equipment is needed. The tap has to be opened and as soon as the water coming out of it is filled in the mouth, it starts realizing that there is sand in the water. Don't drink it now. If the doctors of Bihar recommend drinking water containing sand, then it is okay, otherwise the officer who started this tap should have written on the tube well that the water of this tap is not potable yet. Secondly, this tap should not have been started without clean water. But the officer turned on the tap and people are using it.

However, the people of the village have removed the water of the tap of every house containing this sand. The housewife of the village tells that it is true that there is a lot of fine sand in tap water. Earlier there used to be more and now something has decreased, but still not cooking and potable. There is no problem in using water to wash animals and wash the house. To use tap water for cooking and drinking water, the water has to be filled in a vessel and left for hours, after which the sand settles at the bottom of the bucket or vessel and then it is used. Those who have their own means do not have any problem but those who do not have the means they have to do so much because most of the government hand pumps in the village have been exhausted which was as a second option.

Elderly people are using tap water in some way, but we should also think about the children of the village. Children go out to play and when they feel thirsty after play they open the tap and drink water. Their thirst is quenched, but sand is also consumed in large quantities along with that water, which can prove to be injurious to their health. On all this, both the people of Bihar and the government should think together that what is the rationale for supplying such sand-rich water? Only vote or health matters. People must ask their government that what is the purpose of 'Har Ghar Nal Ka Jal? Jai Hind!
