Metro trains have been launched in Patna, the capital of Bihar. When the foundation stone for the Patna metro was laid by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, it seemed as if there was no need for a metro train in a backward state like Bihar.

But when Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the metro by cutting the ribbon, it was realized that running a metro train in Bihar was the right decision.

This is a matter of pride for the people of Bihar. We are also proud of the Chief Minister who made Bihar a state with a metro train.

The first phase of the metro train has been launched. The government has planned to run metro trains over a significant distance in Patna. Work is underway in full swing. Patna will have a network of metro trains.

The first phase will run from Patna's bus stand to Bhootnath. The distance is estimated to be around 3 to 3.5 kilometers. Fares will be around ₹10 to ₹15. Trains will run daily and will be available to passengers at intervals of 10-20 minutes.
