This incident happened on Sunday at Bhuni toll plaza in Sarurpur area, when Jawan Kapil, a resident of Gotka village, was going for duty after leave. His car was stuck in a long queue of vehicles at the toll plaza. Kapil requested the toll plaza employees to remove the vehicles quickly, which led to a dispute and the toll plaza employees beat up a Jawan badly. The video of the beating is going viral. The Police has taken action in this case and arrested six people.

The officer said that when the argument escalated, the toll plaza employees beat up Jawan Kapil. Police has registered a case on the basis of complaint of the Jawan's family. Superintendent of Police (Rural) Rakesh Kumar Mishra said that six accused have been arrested on the basis of CCTV footage, while the search for others is on.

On Sunday night, employees of Bhuni toll on Meerut-Karnal highway attacked army Jawan Kapil, a resident of Gotka village. When his cousin Shivam tried to defend him, the accused also beat him. Both the brothers were injured.

When the villagers created a ruckus at the toll plaza demanding the arrest of the accused, the accused fled. A report has been filed at the Sarurpur police station by the injured soldier's father Krishnapal. The police is identifying the accused on the basis of footage. Constable Gotka resident Kapil of the Rajput battalion was posted in Srinagar during Operation Sindoor. He had come on leave during the Kanwar Yatra. Kapil told that on Monday he had to report to his battalion for duty in Srinagar. He had a flight from Delhi at 5 am on Monday. On Sunday night at 9 pm, his cousin Shivam was going to drop him at the Delhi airport by car. As soon as they reached the Bhuni toll, Kapil showed his ID card and leave letter to the employees to get the car out of the toll. He also told that his village Gotka is in the category of villages exempted at the toll.

It is alleged that despite this, the toll employees snatched his ID card and mobile phone. When he protested against this, the accused attacked him. Kapil was not in uniform. The accused beat him and tore his clothes. The entire incident is recorded in CCTV. Both the brothers somehow saved their lives.

Information was given to the police and villagers. Seeing the crowd of villagers and police on the spot, the accused fled. While the incident of beating the army jawan and his cousin was recorded in the CCTV installed at the toll. The villagers created a ruckus demanding the arrest of the accused. S.O Ajay Shukla pacified the villagers by explaining to them. The villagers became angry with the audacity of the accused. The villagers searched for the attackers, during which they beat up toll worker Ankit, a resident of Baghpat.
