Cash worth Rs 47 lakh has been recovered from an IAS's cadre. This is the first case of catching bribe in which IAS Officer is involved. Further investigation is underway.

Dhiman Chakma has admitted to taking bribe, which is difficult to digest.
The officer bargained for a bribe at a very high level.It is being said that bribery has reached such a high level that the officer not sparing anyone.
A low-level police officer in the police station takes a bribe of Rs 1 lakh from a labourer. This is the real scene of bribery in rural India.

It is reported that 2021 batch officer Dhiman Chakma has increased the amount of bribe to ₹20 lakh in just 4 years. He has made such a huge deal for a bribe with local management. Further investigation is being conducted.
